Tomorrow's march on Washington for gay rights is preceded by controversy within the movement over the possible diversion of resources away from crucial state battles in November, and some are calling the march "hastily planned." Barack Obama will speak tonight at a Human Rights Campaign fundraiser, even though they're not happy with his sluggishness on "Don't ask, don't tell." Lady Gaga will perform. Barney Frank calls the whole march "A waste of time," mainly because lawmakers are back in their home states this weekend for the Columbus Day holiday. C-Span will be live broadcasting the march and rally from 2pm-5pm EDT tomorrow.
