Jane Jacobs’s Village Townhouse Sold for $3.3 Million

The teeny townhouse on Hudson Street — from which Jane Jacobs penned her The Death and Life of Great American Cities and, ultimately, put powerful urban planners like Robert Moses in their place — was just sold for $3.3 million. It’s part of the Greenwich Village Historic District, so the new owners can’t change the original structure, but they can build on it. (Let’s hope not too much. That just wouldn’t be right.)
