Drama returned to the trial of Hiram Monserrate yesterday as prosecutors forced Karla Giraldo, the glass-wounded girlfriend who now says this is all a big misunderstanding, to take the stand. Under questioning, Giraldo contradicted a claim she had previously made to a grand jury — that she had only had two glasses of wine and wasn't drunk the night of the "incident."
