Longtime NY1 political anchor Dominic Carter will appear in court today after a string of domestic-abuse accusations from his wife and family that go back years. Cops have been called to the couple's home in Rockland County four times in the past 24 months, including one time a year ago when Carter's wife, Marilyn, accused him of punching her in the face, in the arm, kicking her, and partially strangling her. She had the cuts and bruises to back up her claim. She's since recently moved out of their home together, according to the Post, which has all the unpleasant details. Carter, the wonky host of the network's Inside City Hall, has been with the network since it launched in 1992. He was conspicuously absent from his anchor's seat last night.
