The Obamas Make Their Final, Obama-esque Olympic Pitches

Half of Chicagoans may not welcome the chance to host the 2016 Olympics, but the Obamas are pretty keen on the idea. So keen, in fact, that they've traveled to Copenhagen to charm the pants off the International Olympic Committee, which will decide today between Chicago, Rio de Janeiro, Madrid, and Tokyo. In addition to all the behind-the-scenes cajoling, both Michelle and Barack, as is their wont, gave personal, passionate speeches in support of bringing the Games back to America for the millionth time. Even for the Obamas, the heartwarming-inspiration level was particularly high.
