Greg Craig Stepping Down As White House Counsel

White House Counsel Gregory Craig, who once lawyered for clients like Ted Kennedy, Bill Clinton (during the impeachment), John Hinckley, Jr., Kofi Annan, and Elian Gonzalez's dad, will step down Friday. The most high-profile figure to leave the Obama White House so far, Craig's departure will end what the Washington Post calls "an embattled tenure in which he struggled to lead the closure of the Guantanamo Bay detention facility." We'll always remember him for that hair. [Washington Post]
