While everyone talks about Playgirl and Levi Johnston's wiener, there are big things going down at Playboy HQ, as two different buyers close in on the nudie mag and its properties. Iconix Brand Group and a group led by Jim Griffiths, Playboy Enterprises Inc.'s former entertainment president, are both in talks to purchase the company for around $300 million and take it private.

Whether Playboy Enterprises is ever actually sold will ultimately be the decision of Hugh Hefner, who holds 70 percent of its stock. Getting Hef to relinquish control of the company he founded 56 years ago may prove a difficult task. Unless those attempting to buy it are 23-year-old blondes with huge hooters. We understand he has a weakness.
