Nonchalant Nun Has Seen Her Share of Walks of Shame

Sure, people think it's weird that she lives "in a nunnery," one of the residents at Jeanne D’Arc Residence on West 24th Street, once told the Sun, but according to the Times story about old-timey women's boarding houses today, the nuns at Jeanne D’Arc are a lot more open-minded than they used to be.

"On Saturday night, you start seeing everyone all dolled up and walking out the door," said Sister Marlene Rust, the administrator of Jeanne d’Arc, which is owned by an order of Catholic nuns. "You might see them walking in again on Sunday morning or afternoon." (Asked if anyone seemed to be embarrassed by such a timetable, the nun replied: "Why be embarrassed?")

After all, they were probably just out talking. If they were planning anything else, they would have asked the sister for some condoms before going out.
