The Lithuanian Consulate Doesn’t Get a Lot of Mail, Apparently

A letter containing harmless white powder arrived at the Russian consulate on the Upper East Side today, making it the sixth target this week of some hilarious hoaxster. Meanwhile, the Lithuanian consulate called investigators "out of an abundance of caution" after it received an envelope this morning. Not an envelope with any powder in it, mind you — just an envelope. [NY1]
