Lloyd Blankfein has been targeted by the SEC, protesters, the media, and today, by ugly rumors that he may be replaced as CEO of Goldman Sachs. But even after all he’s been through, Blankfein is able to see the good in his terrible situation, he told the firm’s wealth-management clients in a conference call just now. The Business Insider’s Courtenay Comstock summarizes:

If there is a silver lining its that he’s reaching out and he wishes he’s done it earlier. He wishes he’s done calls like this before. The silver lining is getting these relationships right. He says they’re all going to be introspective now.
