Al Qaeda Spokesman Warns of New Attacks

Al Qaeda’s U.S.-born spokesman released a 24-minute video Sunday (on Father’s Day, which just seems sort of mean) stating that the militant group is planning new attacks that will kill more Americans than any previous ones. Adam Gadahn — who has been wanted by the FBI since 2004 — listed the conditions for peace with the U.S., which remain the same as they were back in 2007, including the release of all Muslim prisoners and cutting aid to Middle East governments.

Gadahn tauntingly threatened that if one compares the number of dead Muslims “with the relatively small number of Americans we have killed so far, it becomes crystal-clear that we haven’t even begun to even the score.” And adding insult to injury, he took some personal swipes at the president, calling him “a devious, evasive and serpentine American president with a Muslim name” and claiming “you’re no longer the popular man you once were, a year ago or so.”
