Don’t Pester the President When He’s Buying Shrimp

On vacation in Martha’s Vineyard with his family, Barack (sporting a White Sox cap) and Michelle were walking around a place called Nancy’s Restaurant on the waterfront when some reporters decided to shout out questions at him pertaining to the war in Iraq. According to Jake Tapper, Obama ignored the queries for a bit, before turning to the reporters: “We’re buying shrimp, guys,” he said. “Come on.” The reporters won’t have to wait too much longer to hear his thoughts on the war effort, though, as Obama is scheduled to address the nation from the Oval Office next Tuesday to mark the withdrawal of U.S. combat troops from the country.
