Walter Davis, 50, became upset when his doctor, David Cohen, told him some news about the condition of Davis’s mother today at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Maryland. While it is as yet unclear what the news was, it caused Davis to pull a gun on Cohen and shoot him in the chest. Davis then shot his mother in the head, killing her, and then killed himself.
