An investigation of a Thai Airways plane is under way Tuesday night after authorities said a threatening message was found “scrawled on the lavatory mirror” (and written in “poorly worded English”) that claimed a bomb was onboard. The flight landed safely in Los Angeles from Bangkok and was immediately taken to a remote area where it was met by police. The FBI said that, at the moment, there does not appear to be evidence that there was a bomb onboard, but the bureau said it would be “taking all precautions and conducting a thorough investigation to render the plane safe.” [CNN,Fox LA]
