American hikers Josh Fattal and Shane Bauer, held in Iran since Iranian officials said they illegally crossed into the country in July 2009, will stand trial before an Iranian court on spying charges November 6, Iranian news agencies reported today. The recent WikiLeaks doc claims Iranians crossed the Iraqi border in order to arrest the Americans last year. Sarah Shourd, arrested in Iran along with Bauer and Fattal, was allowed back to the U.S. last September. While locked up in an Iranian jail together, Bauer proposed to Shourd with a makeshift ring, and the two still plan to get married in the U.S.[CNN]
