Entry roads and part of a nearby highway were locked down this morning after a civilian reported shots fired on the Pentagon. The gunfire hit the building, but only caused minor damage. A Pentagon spokesperson said he did not know if it was related to Monday’s discovery of bullet holes in the National Museum of the Marine Corps, 30 miles south. Great, now all we can think about is how there’s a masked sniper on the loose, probably in Civil War reenactment gear, dueling the sides of buildings in our nation’s capital. [WP]
