Has Google Street View Been Up to No Good?
The FCC is investigating whether Google "broke federal laws when its street-mapping service collected consumers' personal information." The probe started earlier in the year after the Electronic Privacy Information Center filed a complaint in May. The worry is that street-mapping teams gathered information from unprotected wireless networks. The FTC closed a similar investigation in May.
