Leon Neyfakh Defects From New York Observer to Boston Globe

We hear from multiple sources that Neyfakh, who writes skillfully about technology, society, and the feelings of 26-year-olds at the salmon-tinted paper, will be working for the “Ideas” section of the Times-owned Boston paper (sort of like the Times’ own “Week in Review”). Neyfakh, who will move to Boston for the gig, didn’t immediately respond with comment when we reached out to him. Meanwhile, he is one of the last of the old young guard remaining at Kyle Pope’s rapidly evolving weekly newspaper.
