Obviously, Christine O’Donnell Has No Plan to Leave the Public Eye Anytime Soon

Loss can be a funny thing. In politics and in life, sometimes defeat is only the beginning of a jacked-up campaign to prove, votes or no votes, you’re not going anywhere. For example, Sarah Palin only commenced her evolution toward ubiquity when she didn’t become vice-president. So, obviously, Christine O’Donnell, the semi-beleaguered senatorial hopeful that was, will not go gently into that good night. On Bill O’Reilly’s show last night, she explained:

Moving forward, we’re meeting with a lot of different publishers today. So definitely a book deal. Definitely a book deal. I’ve been offered a reality show - [but] no Dancing with the Stars. I’d like to continue to be a voice for the voiceless and help to stop the destructive policies that are coming in the lame duck session.”

Notice that zinger at the end? That’s the mark of a person with no interest in going away.
