Dow Hits Highest Level in Three Years
Buoyed by a statement from the Fed and the president's hilarious salmon joke, the Dow went briefly up to 12,000 today before closing at 11,985.44, the highest it's been since June 2008, or the time when the government had bailed out some but not yet all financial institutions. Yay!
