Jeff Zucker Loves Keith Olbermann, Glenn Beck Does Not

Outgoing NBC president and CEO Jeff Zucker avoided discussing Keith Olbermann’s abrupt departure from MSNBC, but did call Olbermann “one of the great stars” and “an incredible talent.” And today, Olbermann took to Twitter with a career-related quip: “My humble thanks to all Friends of Keith for the many kind words. The reports of the death of my career are greatly exaggerated.”

But good riddance, said Glenn Beck. On Monday, he expressed his Beck-ness thusly: “You can handle the mediocre ratings if the guy’s not a total pain in the ass. But from every indication, Keith Olbermann is the biggest pain in the ass in the world. Nobody liked working with him.”
