Stephen King Eloquently Rips Into the Tea Party, Taxes, Reagan

Earlier this week, Stephen King spoke at a local rally in Sarasota, Florida, opposing state budget cuts. King, who pays taxes in both Florida and his native Maine, started by comparing tea party politicians Scott Walker, Paul LePage, and Rick Scott to the Three Stooges. Then King, who says he pays 28 percent income tax, asked, “Why am I not paying 50 [percent]? Why is anybody in my bracket not paying 50?” But it wasn’t until he took aim at the Gipper that King really hit the lefty populist hat trick.
