Dick Cheney to Finally Share His Opinions on Things

Here’s your breezy summer read, America: Dick Cheney’s post-presidential (whoops!) post-vice-presidential memoir, In My Time: A Personal and Political Memoir, will be released on August 30. The 544-page book was co-written with daughter Liz (or, as publisher Mary Matalin describes it to Playbook, the book comes with “the lagniappe of one-of-a kind daughter/partner production”), who says it’s “very straightforward” and contains “a lot of in-depth analysis of really critically important issues.” Matalin, trying to be a bit more provocative, heeds Politico to “pick your metaphor: sacred cows, ruffled feathers, broken eggs,” shooting discretion square in the face, etc.
