Tuesday night, New York Magazine’s John Heilemann appeared on MSNBC’s Last Word With Lawrence O’Donnell to talk about Newt Gingrich’s run for the presidency. Gingrich (or, as Heilemann called him, Blingrich) may have already blown it, thanks to referring to fellow Republican Paul Ryan’s health-care plan as “right-wing social engineering,” argued Heilemann. Maybe he’s just not that smart?
