The peahen (female peacock) that escaped from the Bronx Zoo on Monday was recaptured in the garage of a nearby business this morning, before we could even give her an awesome nickname like “Fleecock” or “Freecock,” which now that we’re typing them sound kind of dirty. [NYDN]
