DSK Left New York Yesterday to Weather Irene in D.C.

Yesterday afternoon, trailed by paparazzi wagons, a decidedly more cheery Dominique Strauss-Kahn and wife Anne Sinclair headed to LaGuardia to catch a flight to Washington D.C., where the couple have a multi-million-dollar home. There, DSK is scheduled to swing by his former domain at the IMF. (Earlier this week, all criminal charges against the former IMF managing director relating to a hotel maid’s accusations that he had sexually assaulted her, were officially dismissed.) While DSK and Sinclair won’t be around to witness New Yorkers losing their mind as Hurricane Irene inches closer and closer, they won’t exactly be out of the storm’s path in D.C. either. And now for the question on every DSK-obsessed media type in the city: Will he ever come back or is the DSK saga really over? Looks like TriBeCa is still home base, but that might change if the maid, now suing DSK in Bronx court, decides to settle.
