Mayor Bloomberg Only Got Four Hours of Sleep Last Night

Mayor Michael Bloomberg visited the ladies of The View today and discussed why first responders were not invited to this year’s 9/11 memorial service, especially given Bloomberg’s sometimes “get over it” kind of attitude when it comes to remembrances of the tragedy. Short answer: space. “Families come first,” Bloomberg said. Naturally, no politician can visit The View without being asked if and when they will run for president, and Bloomberg was no different. Barbara Walters asked, and almost before the words were out of her mouth Bloomberg responded with a terse, “No,” adding that he has “the most wonderful job,” despite being kept up until 2 a.m. last night, “because of something I had to do.” Big-city mayors … they’re just like us.
