The protesters stationed in the financial district got what appears to be their first celebrity visitor today: Susan Sarandon took a tour of Zuccotti Park in order to “understand what’s going on and to lend my support.” Looks like someone still feels bad about participating in Wall Street 2.
Update: Apparently, once Sarandon did understand what was going on, she also tried to lend some advice to the somewhat disorganized organizers. In what we imagine was a very patient tone, the actress pointed out that “It helps to focus on one thing to be accomplished.” [Bloomberg]
