The Justice Department Is Investigating eBay Employees for Alleged Craigslist Theft
Federal investigators are looking into claims that eBay stole confidential information from Craigslist for use in the launch of eBay Classifieds and its Canadian counterpart, Kijiji. The theft is said to have occurred via eBay's seat on Craigslist's board of directors, which the auction website obtained when it bought a $32 million minority stake in the company in 2004. [WSJ]
