While Mark Block, Herman Cain’s chief of staff and star of his mind-blowing recent campaign video, seems to think cigarettes convey awesomeness, the candidate himself certainly does not. Pressed by the hosts of Face the Nation on Sunday, Cain took a firm stance on the issue: “Young people of America, all people: Do not smoke. I’ve never smoked and I have encouraged people not to smoke … Smoking is not a cool thing to do.” (Wink-wink.) Like the ad says, this man truly is America. [Politico]
