We all had a nice laugh at the tone-deafness of Mitt Romney's $10,000 bet during the debate on Saturday. The DNC, though, is still laughing. Today, as Romney was in town hopping from one fund-raiser to the next, a DNC-hired plane circled over the Hudson River carrying a 175-foot banner that read: "BET YOU 10K ROMNEY'S OUT OF TOUCH" and directing onlookers to the website MITTS10KBET.COM. Because $10,000 bets just aren't something that the average Joe can relate to. Hiring a private plane to fly a banner over the Hudson for shits and giggles, though — totally relateable.
