NYPD Affiliation for Sale

Friends and family of NYPD officers are often provided with "courtesy cards" by police unions that make wiggling one's way out of a ticket way easier; like everything else in New York City, they're being counterfeited. NBC New York caught a man selling the cards in a hidden-camera sting, who claims he kicks back the profits to retired officers. Right, sure — and the card will fit snugly in that "Louis Vitton" wallet you just snagged on Canal Street.
