After Rick Santorum’s solid 51 percent win in yesterday’s Kansas caucus, Buzzfeed rightly asked the question, “Who did the most famous Republican in Kansas vote for?” Turns out Charles Koch, the billionaire heavyweight behind conservative advocacy outfits such as Americans for Prosperity, didn’t bother showing up. It seems that neither he nor equally crazy-rich brother David Koch has chosen a horse to bet on — so far neither has donated any sizable amount to any of the major candidates. And yet the Koch brothers, whose mere mentions sends shivers of fear and loathing through liberal activists everywhere, are expected to invest as much as $200 million into unseating President Barack Obama. Their estranged brother Bill Koch, on the other hand, already sits firmly planted in the Mitt Romney camp, having given his super PAC at least $1 million to date.
