In a very predictable turn of events, the California parole board declined to grant parole to Charles Manson yesterday. In addition to, you know, everything, it didn’t help Manson’s case that he recently told his prison psychologist, “I’m special. I’m not like the average inmate. I have spent my life in prison. I have put five people in the grave. I am a very dangerous man.”
