Ex-NYPD Boss William ‘Zero Tolerance’ Bratton Getting Special Parking Perks

WASHINGTON - APRIL 19: (L-R) Al Sharpton, President of National Action Network, Eric Garcetti, City Council President of Los Angeles, Charles Ramsey, Chief of Police of Philadelphia, and Bill Bratton, former police chief of Los Angeles and of New York City, walk toward the podium after a meeting with President Barack Obama on immigration at the White House April 19, 2011 in Washington, DC. Obama had a meeting with a group of business, law enforcement, faith, and current and former elected and appointed leaders to discuss the fixing of the immigration system for the 21st century economic and national security needs. The New York Post caught former Giuliani enforcer William Bratton using an “official NYPD business” parking permit for his Lexus SUV despite the fact that he resigned from the department in 1996. The ex-NYPD and LAPD commissioner put his ride in a “No Standing” zone outside of the security firm Kroll, where he serves as chairman, which should’ve been enough for a $115 ticket. NYPD spokesman Paul Browne insists former commissioners are entitled to placards, but Lee Brown, who had the job in the early nineties, told the tabloid that he was never offered one. Ray Kelly, on the other hand, can probably skip the line at Shake Shack.
