Some real, actual, legal marijuana plants sprouted to about one-foot-tall in the Garden State, about two years after former Governor Jon Corzine signed into the law the New Jersey Compassionate Use Medical Marijuana Act. The Wall Street Journal reports that the first crop has been growing hydroponically for about a month “in a 5,000-square-foot warehouse in an undisclosed location.” New Jersey is not a large state.
