NYPD Protects Zuccotti Park From Knitting Old Woman

One person in particular got a little out of hand at an Occupy Wall Street protest in Zuccotti Park last night, requiring the direct attention of a police commander. Fifty-six-year-old Marsha Spencer was wildly knitting while seated in a folding chair when she was surrounded by officers and led from the park by her arm. “They told me that I couldn’t have my chair in the park,” Spencer, who can be seen shaking with fear on video, explained to the New York Times. “I asked them to show me where that was in the rules.” Spoken like a true rabble-rouser.
