At first blush, we thought it wasn’t that big of a deal that the VF hitting stands this week bore the same Annie Leibovitz Obama cover shot that was part of the “Africa” series two summers ago. But in retrospect — seriously? They only get twelve chances at this a year, with the best photographers in editorial at their fingertips, and they decided to double up? [NYO]
