Plane Crashes Into House Outside Buffalo, Killing 50

A flight from Newark to Buffalo crashed about five miles outside of the Buffalo airport last night, into a house in a small town called Clarence Center. The 45 passengers and 4 crew members were killed, along with one member of the house. A woman and child, also living in the house, survived with minor injuries, which is amazing, since according to the town’s emergency coordinator, the plane made a “direct hit on the house.” “It’s remarkable that it only took one house,” he said. “It could have easily taken the whole neighborhood.” Horrible.
