Board of Elections records obtained by NY1 reveal that Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor didn’t vote in the last two statewide elections, nor in “three other recent elections for State Supreme Court,” though she consistently votes for mayor and president. Nevertheless, eyebrows are being raised, we’re told. Raised! In a suspicious manner! But President Obama did in fact say that he wanted a judge who could relate to ordinary folks, and a spotty interest in voting seems like something Sotomayor and a majority of people have in common.
