Shortly before one this morning, a filmed car chase in Times Square went awry, leaving two people injured. A black Ferrari was weaving through stunt taxis for a scene from the upcoming movie The Sorcerer's Apprentice, starring Nicolas Cage, when the driver lost control. The car crossed the sidewalk, knocking down a woman and toppling a lamppost, which landed on another passerby. The wreck ended with the car smashing through the door of a corner Sbarro. The Post talked to witnesses and even obtained some video of the incident. Both victims were taken to the hospital but do not appear to have suffered dire injuries. So what's the takeaway here? Any movie starring Nicolas Cage as a sorcerer is exactly as nightmarish as it sounds.
