A friend of Katie Lee Joel’s provides some valuable insight into the great mystery of why she is divorcing from the man everyone thought was her true love, Billy Joel: age.
“The age difference didn’t seem to be a big deal seven years ago [when they met], but it has become one as they got older,” the source said. “They just grew apart.”
Well, of course. When she was 20 and he was a fifty-fucking-three-year-old man, their relationship made perfect sense, because when she was bored he could just entertain her with rattles and shiny objects.
