Last month, James Franco bowed out of a commencement address he was expected to give at his alma mater, UCLA. At the time, it was rumored that he had been pressured to recuse himself by a 600-student-strong Facebook group, "UCLA Students Against James Franco as Commencement Speaker," started by a Tracy Flick–like former classmate of Franco's called Erin Moore. "He was in our class," Moore told the L.A. Times. He's not a role model. He hasn't had time to accomplish anything with his degree." But now, it seems, there might have been another reason.
