Times Managing Editor Brags About Her Perfect Puppy

Apparently when you are a top editor at the Times, you get to write about whatever the hell you want. Which is fair enough, but news managing editor Jill Abramson is taking this to the extreme, beginning a published diary today that will brag about the flawless puppy she has recently adopted. Apparently, the puppy smells perfect (well, all puppies do), it was perfectly house-trained, and has perfect little playdates. Lady, that is just heartless. You are torturing puppy-barren people everywhere, with your spacious lawn and your spouse who conveniently works at home all day and your children who want to help take care of the dog. Nobody likes a show-off. [NYT]
