Lynn Jenkins, the GOP Kansas congresswoman who recently called for her party to find a "great white hope" to defeat President Obama, and then apologized and claimed she was "unaware of any negative connotation" of the phrase, probably should have known better. It was only a month ago that Jenkins supported a resolution that described exactly what "great white hope" means. At worst, this could show that Jenkins knew exactly what she was saying. At best, she's just not paying that much attention to things going on in Congress. Neither are great. [HuffPo]
