As Governor Paterson continues to warn a seemingly unconcerned legislature about the prospect of New York going absolutely broke in the near future, Andrew Cuomo is reportedly shunning gubernatorial endorsement offers from “several high-profile Democrats” because he “doesn’t want to get saddled too soon with having to deal with all of the state’s problems.” We imagine he still needs more time to complete the hypnotism therapy or other rigorous mental training that will allow him to withstand the governorship without his brain melting.
