First, Nielsen Business Media announced that they were shuttering Kirkus Reviews and Editor & Publisher. That was back in December. Then, word came that Kirkus found a new home and would get a second life. Now, today, Keith Kelly reports that Editor & Publisher will have another go at life. It’s back in business less than two weeks after it shut down initially, under the helm of Duncan MacIntosh, a publishing house that runs Boating World and Sea Magazine. The 100-year-old trade publication only missed one print issue in January so far, and expects to be back to full speed in February, under the editorship of longtime editor-at-large Mark Fitzgerald.
