Goldman Sachs Breaks Out Riot Gear After Blockbuster Earnings Report

There are police cars, barricades, and bomb-sniffing dogs in front of Goldman Sachs headquarters at 85 Broad today. The Post thinks it’s because they’re expecting protesters after their announcement of record earnings this morning, but we suspect it might have something to do with another, more frightening threat that recently appeared on the Goldman Sachs horizon. They’re being sued by a group of city workers in Philadelphia. We can’t say we blame them for pumping up security. Those people are scary. [NYP]
