When Newsweek's January 25 issue hits newsstands on Monday its cover story will be an essay about the devastating earthquake in Haiti on Tuesday, written by a guy you may have seen on TV—President Obama. The magazine had been planning to run a story on that whole Google v. China skirmish but when the earthquake hit editor Jon Meacham called up David Axelrod who asked his boss if he was game to write an essay for the magazine. And Obama said yes. Yes Time, it's really that easy.
