Harold Ford Jr., still on a leave of absence from his job as a vice-president at Merill Lynch, reassured a worried America a couple of weeks ago that he's "still got a little NYU teaching job and some MSNBC," so for a while he "can put food on the table," and America breathed a sigh of relief. But wait — now NBC has suspended Ford as one of its political analysts while he mulls a Senate run against Kirsten Gillibrand, "meaning that the network is not currently paying him," according to Politico.
